Connection is at the centre of everything we build | Codecom x Killara

We're officially partnered with Killara Supply, an Indigenous-owned business creating real pathways through supply and distribution.
Codecom Killara Supply Partnership

At Codecom, our business is founded on connection. Strong networks are built on strong relationships, and this new partnership reflects exactly that. We are pleased to officially announce a partnership between Codecom and Killara Supply, an Indigenous-owned business creating meaningful pathways through supply and distribution.

This relationship is both professional and personal, with Codecom Director, Andrew Purcell, and Killara Supply founder, Craig Hughes’ friendship going back three decades. That long-standing trust, along with Killara Supply co-founder and former AFL player Lindsay Gilbee, has shaped a partnership built on shared values and mutual respect.

A partnership built on shared purpose

As a family-owned Australian business, Codecom has always believed that who we work with matters. Partnering with Killara Supply allows us to support an Indigenous business that is creating real economic opportunity, while continuing to deliver the quality and reliability our customers expect.

Killara Supply brings strong community connection and a clear purpose to this partnership. Together, we are building a supply relationship that supports distribution but also puts participation, capability, and long-term opportunities at the forefront.

Australian Made, backed by real relationships

A growing portion of Codecom’s product range carries the Australian Made mark. For us, this commitment goes beyond manufacturing. It extends to supporting Australian businesses and strengthening the ecosystems around them.

Working with Killara Supply means our Australian Made products are backed by an Indigenous supply partner who is actively creating pathways for growth and engagement across communities. It’s a practical way of aligning what we build with how we operate.

Telling a story through design

To mark this partnership, Killara & Codecom is collaborating with Indigenous artist Nathan Patterson (Diwana Dreaming), who has created a series of artworks that will be featured on Codecom fibre panels.

At the centre of Nathan’s design is the message stick, one of the oldest known forms of communication between Aboriginal communities.

“In the centre is the Message stick, carrying news of welcome and Country between two communities. The blue represents freshwater (hunting grounds) the gum leaves symbolic of our Connection to this land (eucalypt). The message stick travels a long distance between the two fires (campsites) on either side of it. Sharing communication.”

Infrastructure that carries meaning

The message stick is a powerful symbol for what our products do every day; carrying communication across distance. Displaying this artwork on our panels makes that meaning visible. It connects modern infrastructure with one of the world’s oldest communication traditions.

Together, Codecom and Killara Supply are creating a shared pathway that supports Australian manufacturing, strengthens Indigenous business participation, and reflects the Australia we want to work in: practical, inclusive, and grounded in respect.
