Codecom FTTA Hybrid Cables deliver optical fibre and DC power in a single composite assembly, purpose-built for Fibre to the Antenna (FTTA) deployments on macro cell towers, rooftop installations, and small cell sites. By consolidating fibre and power into one cable run, these hybrid assemblies simplify tower infrastructure, reduce cable tray loading, and significantly accelerate installation and commissioning timelines.

The hybrid trunk feeder cable carries 24 fibres of singlemode G.657.A1 optical cable alongside 6 pairs of 8 AWG copper power conductors rated at 0.6/1 kV, providing simultaneous high-capacity optical connectivity and remote power delivery from the base of the tower to Remote Radio Head (RRH) equipment at elevation.

Factory-terminated fibre fanouts and colour-coded power leads at each end enable rapid connection to baseband units (BBUs) at the equipment shelter and RRH modules at the antenna platform, with no on-site splicing or power cable preparation required.
