The Codecom CMD MPO Cassette Module is the core building block of the CMD modular chassis system, providing structured MPO trunk breakout to LC or SC patching ports within a single, front-access chassis slot. Each cassette accepts one MPO Elite trunk at the rear and breaks out to 24 LC or 12 SC connections at the front — delivering low-loss, polarity-managed fanout in a compact, tool-free format.

Available in singlemode and multimode OM3/4 across LC/UPC, LC/APC, and SC/UPC and SC/APC connector types, with Polarity A and C options as standard, the cassette range covers the full breadth of data centre and enterprise network patching requirements. MPO Elite connectors are fitted on the trunk side as standard across all variants, ensuring consistently low insertion loss and high return loss performance at every connection point.

Each cassette slots directly into any CMD chassis — 1RU fixed frame, telescopic sliding, 3RU enclosed, 4RU open panel, or angled — and can be mixed freely with splice modules, adapter plates, QSFP breakout modules, PLC splitters, and copper keystone modules in the same chassis. Custom labelling is available to match your active device layout exactly.
