Description
The Codecom Cat.6 U/UTP 21AWG Long Distance Cable is engineered specifically for extended copper network runs where standard Cat.6 cable falls short. Using a heavier 21AWG bare copper conductor — larger than the typical 23AWG or 24AWG found in standard Cat.6 — the cable achieves significantly extended transmission distances while maintaining full Cat.6 performance compliance to ANSI/TIA-568.2-D.
With a 4PPoE compatible design rated to 100W under IEEE 802.3bt Type 4, the cable is well suited to long-run PoE deployments including IP cameras, wireless access points, and building automation devices where both data and power need to reach beyond standard distance limits. Maximum transmission lengths of 250m at 10Mbps, 210m at 100Mbps, and 160m at 1Gbps — all at 90W PoE — make this cable the practical choice for campus, warehouse, industrial, and large commercial fit-out environments where consolidation points aren’t practical.
Available in 500m drums in blue, with a compact 7.3mm OD and PE separator construction for easy installation in conduit and containment.
